Pathfinder exploration

While making this thing with pathfinder i learned a lot of new tools in the  pathfinder tutorial like the minus tool, unite, divide, intersect, and exclude. These were all very helpful in making my shape what i did was i made a 2 rectangles on top of each other. Then i had 4 circles and used the exclude tool on the circles and it made the spots white then I merged it all together.

Font that describes me

We have been learning about anatomy of the font. After taking a test i got the font of Architype Van Doesburg. My words describe my brand very much because we are emotional for people in hard times. We are assertive by stating want we want to do and sticking with it. Progressive because we are always looking for whats new in design. Finally we are disciplined because we are always on time and on task. Then once i got my font then i got out my vocabulary and went to work on describing the anatomy of my font.

Creative color wheel project

Color psychology is using different colors to affect your views on something. Like using complimentary colors or us warm and cold colors. they all appeal to a different people. Also you can use colors like red for passion or purple for wealth and royalty. Brands use color psychology all the time in their signs, their logos, their adds, and their products all to attract you in to a have a different opinion on their product.

What is Graphic Design?

Graphic design to me is visually expressing what you want to say. It is all around you from a sign to a book cover. It is about making it appeal to whoever your are making it for. It is freely putting words into pictures. One connection i have to graphic design is when i would make posters for a lemonade stand during the neighborhood garage sales. Its crazy to me to think about how simple or complicated graphic design can be. Sometimes you can look at something for 30 min and still not get the meaning or you can figure it out in a split second. Its all based on the person and how you think. For some they might instantly get it and others it takes forever.
